Call for Papers

We invite researchers and practitioners to share knowledge and ideas to foster the implementation of these amazing production technologies in the production of industrial or end-user product.

Scientific Contributions

Scientific contributions consist of a writen paper and a talk at the AMPA-conference. The papers are double-blind peer reviewed. All accepted scientific papers will be published by Springer in the conference proceedings Industrializing Additive Manufacturing- Proceedings of AMPA2023. This enables a worldwide, long-term availability of the contributions.

Submission Process & Review

To submit a new contribution please create an account in our ConfTool platform. You will be guided through our submission process. The following content will be required:

  1. Authors will submit a 300 words abstract until November 28th 2022
  2. Program committee will provide feedback concerning the abstract until December 16th 2022
  3. Authors of accepted abstracts are requested to submit a full paper (approx. 4000 words) until March 3rd 2023 (Deadline extension until March 19, 2023)
  4. Paper acceptance will be notified latest on April 21st 2023
  5. Authors will upload a camera-ready copy of their paper by May 22nd 2023 together with a signed Consent to Publish

2 Stage Review for Scientific Contributions

Abstract Review for industrial relevance

All abstracts will undergo a double-blind review for industrial relevance by the industrial committee. Once an abstract is accepted the author will be invited to write a contribution of approx. 4000 words.

Full Paper Review for scientific quality

Full Papers will undergo a double-blind review for scientific quality by the scientific committee.  

Industrial Contributions

There will be industrial sessions dedicated to companies that like to share their experience with AM in series production without writing a scientific contribution. Talks in the industry session usually present a case study or new approaches to challenges with strikt limitations on marketing. To apply for a talk in an industry session submit an abstract of 300 words until June 30th 2023. To submit a new contribution please create an account in our ConfTool platform. You will be guided through our submission process.

We are open for other topics addressing challenges of additive manufacturing in real world-value chains in fields such as medtech, food processing or process engineering.
